검색 컨텐츠에 대한 설명

Adobe Community Experts로 등록하기 위해 Biography를 보냈는데, 그 중 '컨텐츠 검색 결과'에 대해 이해가 안된다고 다음과 같은 메일이 왔다.

Could you tell me what the below sentence means? I'm not sure if you created a search engine or if it’s a project to improve the search capability on a website..



"He has also produced a lot of search content using an interactive and rich interface using Flash and Ajax."

그렇지... 난 검색 엔진을 만들진 않았고 미국 사람이 아는 검색은 좀 다를테니까 이해를 못할 수 밖에...

그래서 다음과 같이 답장 했다.

yes, I never create 'search engine' ;-)



main service of naver is 'search'. but it has a little difference compared with other search sites.

naver is similar to yahoo!, the search portal.



(naver's)some search results show contents of we providing.



for example, you can ask naver 'what time of NewYork is' or just type 'newyork time' as a query. the search result page contains Global Clocks with flash following normal search results like google.



another example, you want to know 'seoul subway map' or 'how to go from Kangnam(it's station name) to Seoul'. if you ask naver, naver calculate Route, Transfer info(if you need), calculate Total Time etc., and then showing the subway map that has a blightly hinted lines to go(using flash and ajax).



we call those services 'content search result' or 'direct search result'.

암튼 결론은 Adobe 사이트에 조만간 Bio가 올라간다!
